Loudness as a trait

“Loud”ness is a very chhapri trait.

If you ever notice how chhapris act and how they present themselves, one trait that defines them is how loud they are.

Of course they are loud when they speak, loud in the music they play, & loud when they express themselves (often not without expletives). Soft-spoken? No way. Headphones when in a public space? Not at all. Melodious music? Nope! Calling your friend? Scream! Hear something from funny? Howl! Surprised? Shriek!

Default mode is being loud.

They're even loud in how they dress and act -- loud (unsubtle) colours, weird hairstyle with golden streaks, loud motorbikes driven in weird S-shapes, zigzagging across the road, constant honking.

Everything is loud. Loud, and disgusting.
