न सूतेषु न धुर्येषु न च शस्त्रोपनायिषु
न भेरीशङ्खवादेषु प्रहर्तव्यं कथंचन
"Neither charioteers, nor those tasked with carrying burdens nor those carrying weapons, and nor those who sound kettledrums or conch shells. None of these people should be struck."
Very interesting verse - essentially says that non-combatants were to not be harmed in the course of the battle.
Similar sentiment echoed in the Geneva Conventions too.
